Browser Extensions
Opera extension
Install the Opera extension and send pages or links back to BrowserFairy.
The Opera extension lets you send the page you are viewing, or a specific link on that page, back to BrowserFairy. Use it for links that start inside Opera, where normal default-browser routing cannot intercept the click.
Install from Opera add-ons
- Open the BrowserFairy listing on the Opera add-ons site.
- Click Add to Opera.
- Confirm in the dialog Opera shows.
Pin the toolbar button
After installing, the BrowserFairy button may be inside Opera's extensions menu. Pin it to the toolbar so sending the current page is one click away.
Send the current page
Open the page you want to route, then click the BrowserFairy toolbar button. Opera sends the page address to the BrowserFairy app, and BrowserFairy opens the Browser Launcher so you can choose where it should open.
Send a link before opening it
Right-click a link on any page and choose Open with BrowserFairy. The extension sends that link to BrowserFairy without opening it in Opera first.
If nothing happens
Make sure BrowserFairy is installed and running on the same Mac. The app's icon should be visible in the menu bar. For the full checklist, see Troubleshooting.
For the bigger picture, see Browser extensions.
